We helped kick off Opening Day at the Jamestown Public Schools on Wednesday, showing our 2023 Campaign Video for the assembled staff!
The district welcomed back its team for the official start of the school year and heard from Dr. Kevin Whitaker, JPS Superintendent, as well as our very own Amy Rohler, Executive Director of the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County!
“The support of our school districts and their staff is so critical," Rohler said, "especially as funds raised by United Way of Southern Chautauqua County each year go to programs which benefit children and help enable academic success.”
By contributing to United Way, donors help fund 42 programs administered by 29 local agencies.

The collective impact we all make when when we work 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 is exponential.
Here at United Way of Southern Chautauqua County we’re mobilizing agencies and individuals to help people deal with immediate and basic needs. We’re “connecting the dots” and helping agencies collaborate and to leverage their resources.
We truly believe that we are 𝘽𝙀𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙏𝙊𝙂𝙀𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙍 when it comes to solving community-wide problems, and your gifts to United Way supports all these efforts.
