Your UWSCC staff were on hand to present an award at last night’s 2023-2024 Youth Member Recognition & Awards Program for the WCD Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown!
Presented by our Community Impact Manager Eric Rinaldo, the award for Volunteer of the Year was given to Roxane Geranmayeh.
According to the Boys & Girls Club, Roxane was helpful in Saturday sports as well as program areas.
Always lending a hand, she helped with the annual Halloween party, the Falconer Christmas Parade, the stats for Falconer wrestling and volunteered at Sunday School as well as events with seniors at Lutheran.
Congratulations to all the staff and youth club members who were recognized and who received awards last night!
Roxane will be acknowledged again this summer during United Way of Southern Chautauqua County’s annual Volunteer of the Year ceremony.
Volunteer of the Year is an annual event held to acknowledge the hard work and collective impact of volunteers serving United Way’s partner agencies! Each agency nominates an exemplary volunteer who worked in one of their programs, and then those volunteers are recognized by United Way!
