A MESSAGE FROM OUR LEADERS
What a remarkable year! We are deeply grateful for the tireless efforts of our community–including our volunteers, generous donors, top-notch staff, resilient non-profit agencies, and the many, many partners in this work. Our campaign theme for this year was “United We Can” – and we could not be prouder of all we accomplished.
Through the efforts of our three campaign chairs–Denise Heppeler, Danielle Stone, and Heather Turner–we raised more than $1.4 million dollars, which was our highest fundraising year since 2002! We worked with small businesses to develop a giving circle to highlight their unique and local impact: the 365 Small Business Circle.
We developed a new educational and engagement tool called the ALICE Experience, which helps our community learn about some of the challenges and barriers that many working households face. Under our leadership, the I.D.E.A. Coalition (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) formally launched last Juneteenth, and now has more than 40 coalition members committed to making Chautauqua County a place where everyone belongs and has opportunities to thrive.
It has truly been a year of collective impact and capacity building, which is what we do best. Your investment in this organization is the fuel for our mission to help every person and family improve their lives. And united, we can overcome any challenge. Thank you.
Amy Rohler, Executive Director and Joelle Washer, President
